This week on air Lucy & Kel played their new segment Ask your Brekky Besties where listeners can call, text or email in and ask Lucy and Kel ANY question about anything at all!
Caller Mal had a burning question about a super mysterious prize that Lucy handed out to winners on air over 10 years ago.
Lucy called it a Plomby. She never said what is was and no one (except the winners) knows what it even is!  Winners had to sign a certificate to say that they would take the secret to their grave when they collected it. And Mal was DESPERATE to know what it was as he hadn’t stopped thinking about it for 10 years!
Lucy said she is keeping this secret very close to her chest BUT said if 100 people get behind Mal, she will bring it back on air as a special mystery prize.
This encounter got Lucy thinking about all the different words her family had made up throughout her childhood. Not only did they all call a Plomby a Plomby, but in the Holmes Family, Snicker Snackers means tongs and Faffing means getting distracted!
If you’re confused don’t worry because so was Kel (when he first joined the family he had to learn what all of the words and phrases meant so he could keep up!)
If you would like to beg Lucy to release the Plomby, or if you have a question for the new “Ask Your Brekky Besties” segment, shoot an email to lucyandkel@positivemedia.com.au – they always reply!
