🎤 Meet Our Co-Host: Tenielle Neda

Tenielle Neda is a singer-songwriter from Geraldton, Western Australia, whose music beautifully weaves together Scripture, theology, and contemporary folk. With an ethereal voice and thoughtful songwriting, Tenielle has become one of Australia’s most distinctive Christian artists, creating songs that invite listeners to meditate on God’s character through rich biblical imagery and poetic storytelling.

Performing under the name Neda early in her career, Tenielle first gained national recognition with her debut EP Daylight Disguise, released through Island Records Australia. Since then, her music has evolved into a deeply personal expression of faith, drawing heavily from the Psalms and the beauty of Scripture while blending folk, ambient, and alternative influences into a sound that is both intimate and timeless.

Beyond recording and performing, Tenielle is passionate about helping people engage more deeply with God’s Word through music. Her songs are often inspired directly by biblical passages, reflecting her desire to write music that serves the Church while remaining artistically compelling. Alongside her husband Daniel, she has ministered through churches, conferences, and events across Australia, using music to encourage worship and spiritual formation. She also serves as an instrumental music coordinator and educator, investing in the next generation of musicians and worshippers.

Today, Tenielle continues to write and release music that reflects the beauty of the gospel, creating songs that encourage quiet reflection, faithful worship, and a deeper understanding of God’s promises. Whether performing live or recording in the studio, her heart remains to help people know Christ more fully through music shaped by Scripture and grace.

🌟 One to Watch: Daniel Friend

✨ My One To Watch this week is Central Coast singer-songwriter Daniel Friend.

From the Central Coast of New South Wales, Daniel Friend is a singer-songwriter with a heart for creating authentic, faith-filled music. After spending more than a decade performing professionally at restaurants and RSL clubs, Daniel is now sharing songs that reflect his personal faith and love for worship. Alongside his wife and their three boys, he’s actively involved in his local Baptist church, where music has always been an important part of family life.

His latest release, With You, is a great example of his hands-on approach to music. Recorded in his own loungeroom, Daniel played the electric guitar, bass and vocals himself, programming the remaining instruments before producing the track alongside his wife. The result is a warm, genuine song that feels both intimate and uplifting.

There’s something refreshing about Daniel’s music. It isn’t trying to be flashy or complicated, it’s simply honest, heartfelt and centred on God’s presence.

With a passion for songwriting, years of musical experience and a desire to encourage others through faith-filled songs, Daniel Friend is definitely one to watch. ✨
