Peter set up the charity, Make Me Mobile, to fund wheelchair accessible vehicles for low-income NDIS clients that cannot otherwise afford them. The NDIS fund the vehicle modification, but they won’t help the families with the vehicle costs which often means that the client that needs a vehicle modification to suit their needs does not get one. Only well-off people get the transport they need. The government can’t do everything so Peter and his team are trying to find other ways to fund these vehicles.
