As the clock struck midnight on 30 June, there was a sense of joy, gratitude and awe here at TheLight.
After weeks of prayer, planning and partnership with you, TheLight family, June fundraising campaign finished on an extraordinary high. In the final hours of the campaign, donations began arriving one after another in a way that left us humbled and deeply encouraged. It was a powerful reminder that God continues to provide for the ministry of TheLight through the generosity of His people.
While the full fundraising target wasn’t quite reached, what was achieved is nothing short of remarkable.
Celebrating What God Has Done
Together, TheLight family:
- raised $1,545,943
- from 5,180 donations
- by 4,207 unique donors
- with 846 new donors joining the mission
- and 990 phone calls with supporters, representing more than 86 hours of conversations.
These numbers tell a story far bigger than fundraising. They represent thousands of people choosing to invest in a ministry that shares hope, encouragement and the message of Jesus every day.
At the end of the campaign, TheLight reached 84.61% of the fundraising goal, leaving a shortfall of $281,151. This outcome is actually a powerful testimony of God’s provision and the faithfulness of TheLight community, particularly when you consider that only days earlier the funding gap was almost $950,000.
Trusting God for What Comes Next
Throughout the campaign, TheLight team has been continually reminded that God is in control. His timing is perfect, and His provision is always enough for the season we are in.
While additional funding will still be needed later this year, we are grateful that the ministry is in a stable position and able to continue serving our listeners and the community. In the months ahead, we will prayerfully consider the best path forward as we work to balance available resources and continuing to follow God’s lead in expanding the impact of TheLight.
Most importantly, we remain committed to trusting God every step of the way.
