estée is an indie-pop singer-songwriter based in Adelaide, South Australia, embarking on a new chapter as a Christian artist. Known for her warm vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and captivating melodies, she is increasingly creating music that reflects her growing faith while remaining true to the vulnerability and honesty that first connected her with listeners.
Originally born in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, before moving to Australia as a child, estée developed a passion for songwriting at a young age. Her early releases established her as an emerging voice in Australia’s independent pop scene, earning a loyal following through intimate storytelling, dreamy production, and songs exploring love, identity, relationships, and the complexities of growing up.
Today, estée is intentionally reshaping her artistic direction. Rather than leaving behind the authenticity that has always defined her music, she is allowing her relationship with Jesus to become the foundation of her songwriting. Describing herself as a “baby Christian artist,” she is embracing the journey of writing music that is meaningful, hope-filled, and grounded in a Christian worldview while remaining accessible to listeners from all backgrounds.
This new season marks more than a change in lyrical themes. It reflects a deeper desire to create music that encourages, uplifts, and points people towards truth, grace, and hope. Her songs continue to blend contemporary indie-pop production with deeply personal storytelling, offering an honest glimpse into a life being transformed by faith.
