Board Administrative Officer

· Part-time position (0.2 FTE), 35-40 hours per month (including 2-3 evening meetings per month)
· Office based or WFH opportunity as desired (with some evening meetings to be in person)

About this Role

We are a trusted media organisation with a mission to positively impact our community 24/7. As a not-for-profit community organisation, working as Board Administrative Officer, you will provide secretariat support to the PositiveMedia Board and Board Sub-Committees to ensure they function effectively. You will ensure records are kept in line with legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

· Liaison with the Board Chair, CEO, EA to CEO, committee chairs and committee members
· Preparation of agendas and compilation and distribution of meeting papers
· Minute taking at meetings followed by preparation and circulation of minutes and actions
· Follow up work between meetings as required
· Coordination of statutory documents and other Board related aspects of the yearly AGM
