Lucy’s been on a bit of an “apology tour” lately, and it’s been both hilarious (for us) and humbling (for her).
First, she made waves by offhandedly saying she was pretty sure that anyone can keep bees, no license needed. After the show, a quick Google search revealed that a license WAS required. Realising her mistake, Lucy did the right thing: she hilariously apologised to all the Melbourne councils on air!
Next up: baristas. Lucy declared on air their job must be easy because they always seem relaxed. Big mistake. Producer Casey pranked Lucy, and set her up without her knowledge! Lucy went through her normal drive through coffee shop when the owner asked her to get out of car and make her own coffee because he’d “heard her comments”! Let’s just say, it didn’t go well. 🤣 Next minute… Lucy was back on air apologising to baristas everywhere.
And then… the Great Brussels Sprouts saga began. She received a letter from the biggest brussels sprout farm in Australia, demanding an apology for disparaging the good name of sprouts on air. Lucy ended up knee deep in mud at Adam’s Farms where she profusely apologised to sprouts everywhere, and had the great honour of picking the first sprout of the season. (She’s also now proudly Miss Brussels Sprout Queen 2025).
The Apology Tour is over… for now. (Until she says something ELSE on air… 🤣🤣🤣)
