With Melbourne in Stage 4 lockdown at the moment, Lucy and Kel discuss living alone in this lockdown and not being close to friends and family.
“Some people are working from home everyday, and then are staying at home and then they may not have friends and family within the 5km to go for a walk with, because the only thing you can do is walk… and that’s a real serious problem”- Lucy says
Kel talks about how New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Arden has allowed people who are living alone to “buddy up” with another person living alone and support each other through the lockdown period.
As this is not the case in Australia, Lucy and Kel ask their Melburnian listeners how are you dealing with living alone during the lockdown?
