Six-year-old Nhung (Noong) was born with a cataract in her left eye. She lives in a remote village in northern Vietnam, five hours by car from the nearest hospital. Her family couldn’t afford to travel so far to get help for Nhung, until a CBM-supported worker identified Nhung’s case and arranged for her to get the help needed.

Nhung is a smart, outgoing student, but without eye surgery she was falling behind the other students.

“When I grow up, I want a job writing text books for children… If I try to see with the cataract
eye, I feel pain… I am really happy when I can see clearly by both eyes.”- Nhung says

Give the miracle of sight saving surgery to young children just like Nhung for only $33. Donate here
