Victoria & NSW border to close due to COVID-19

Today, Victoria had an increase of 127 Coronavirus cases, being the largest single day increase of cases since the pandemic began. Mr Andrews said it was a record in testing this weekend, with over 24,000 tests completed on Sunday and an overall of over 952,000 tests completed since the start of the pandemic.
With the news of 127 new cases, it has been decided that the Victorian & NSW border will be closed as of 11:59pm Tuesday 7 July. This decision was made by Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews and New South Wales Premier, Gladys Berejiklian.
